The City of Casa Grande is conveniently located in the center of the southern part of Arizona, at the intersection of two major highways. Interstate 10 (I-10) runs east to west across southern Arizona and connects travelers with two major cities, Tucson and Phoenix. I-10 originates out of the east from Las Cruces, New Mexico and out of the west, from Los Angeles, California. Interstate 8 (I-8) splits from I-10 south of Phoenix and provides the quickest access to Yuma, Arizona as well as San Diego, California.
The population of Casa Grande is estimated to be close to 40,000. This figure, however, increases in the winter months up to 60,000, thanks to its pleasant climate, which attracts a lot of visitors from Canada and the northern states of the United States. The city offers many year-round recreational activities. There are several spectacular golf courses, many sports complexes, a huge shopping mall, a variety of exceptional restaurants, countless Indian activities, rodeos and several casinos. Casa Grande is an ideal place to enjoy the many attractions and natural beauty offered in abundance by the State of Arizona.
