Arizona

Arizona is one of the most beautiful states in the United States of America. It has many natural monuments, a rich history about the discovery of the American West and traditions of American Indians and a year-round summer climate in southern part of the state. The major attraction in northern Arizona is the Grand Canyon. It is also a popular place for skiing in the winter months. North-east Arizona belongs to Navajo Indians. It offers a wide range of beautiful natural sceneries for example Antelope canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Painted Desert, Canyon de Chelly call or Rainbow Bridge.
Interstate 40, which crosses northern Arizona from east to west, runs close and parallel to several sections of the old Route 66 - a real mecca for bikers. Further south is the town of Sedona, which is an attraction all in itself. The city is surrounded by unique, beautiful red colored rocks.

Phoenix, the capital of the state of Arizona and it is the fifth largest city in the United States. It offers all the attractions that a large American city has to offer like playgrounds for all kinds of sports, stadiums, restaurants, casinos, shops, resorts, hotels and parks.

The southern part of Arizona is located in the Sonoran Desert. One of the most characteristic plants of the Sonoran Desert is the grand symbol of the West, the giant saguaro cactus. This area has a very warm and dry climate with sunny days almost year-round. The center of all activities in southern Arizona is Tucson - a city filled with history and a beautiful scenery. Located just west of Tucson is the Old Tucson Studios which is the most active filming location for Western-themed movies.
Kitt Peak Observatory is the world's largest collection of optical telescopes. It is located on the Tohono O'odham Reservation. Other popular attractions around Tucson are: Pima Air and Space Museum, San Xavier del Bac Mission, Titan II Museum, Saguaro National Park and Desert Museum. One hour drive south of Tucson is Tombstone. This town has kept the appearance of an early 'old west' town offering visitors a real look into the way things used to be in the old west. Further south a few miles from the Mexican border is the mining town of Bisbee, one of the richest mineral sites in the world. If you visit Bisbee, there are two must-dos. One is the Copper Queen Mine Tour, and the other is the Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum. Another very attractive destination near Bisbee is the Chiricahua National Monument - a great hiking area with plenty of great views and fantastic rock formations.

It is almost impossible to describe all attractions in Arizona. There are way many things to see and experience. We’ll be happy to help you plan your vacation according to your interests. One thing is for certain, you will have memories (and photographs) that will last for a very long time.
